Our Mission

Kenosha Play Dates brings families together to build connection, community, and a stronger village. We create engaging opportunities for children to learn, play, socialize, and develop important life skills, while providing moms with opportunities to connect, find support, and build friendships. We also connect families with local businesses and organizations, helping strengthen the community we all share.

From story times and movement classes to mom meetups and family events, we create easy ways to get out, meet others, and make memories.

Kids

Create opportunities for children to learn, play, socialize, and practice important life skills.

Parents

Help parents find their village through connection, support, friendship, and shared experiences.

Help families discover local businesses while encouraging our community to shop, visit, and support local.

About The Organizer

Hi, I’m Alyssa!

We are the Fox family! Along with my husband, Andy, we have two boys and a girl. We moved to Kenosha in 2018, just before our first son was born, and somehow this little corner of Wisconsin quickly became home. We love the Kenosha community and have never looked back.

Fun fact: Kenosha is the 12th place I’ve lived! So, I’ve lived in quite a few places, but Kenosha is the first place that really felt like home.

I’ve been creating and offering fun activities for families in the community since 2019—from kids’ painting classes and storytimes to Mom’s Night Out, fitness classes, meetups, and everything in between. What started as a way to create fun things for families to do has grown into something I care about even more: helping people find their people.

I know firsthand that getting out, meeting new people, and finding your place in a community isn’t always easy. And honestly, I’m an introvert myself, so walking into a room where I don’t know anyone can still feel a little intimidating! That’s a big part of why I love creating these events. I want them to feel easy to walk into, welcoming, and like a place where you can show up exactly as you are.

Kenosha Play Dates is a little bit of everything I love—bringing people together, creating fun experiences for kids, supporting local businesses, and giving moms and families more opportunities to connect in real life.

So whether you’re joining us for a storytime, meeting up for a walk, heading out for a Moms’ Night Out, or trying something completely new, I’m so glad you’re here. ❤️
