Storytime with Kenosha Play Dates

Our storytimes are designed to help little ones learn, create, and grow in a fun, welcoming environment. Each session includes a themed story, songs and a hands-on craft that ties everything together.

Whether your child loves sitting close to hear every word or prefers to wiggle and explore while listening, they're welcome here!

Children Crafting Leaves

Our Approach to Crafts

Our crafts are designed with purpose, helping children practice fine motor skills like cutting, gluing, and assembling, while still leaving plenty of room for creativity. Activities can be easily adapted for different ages, so every child can participate at their own level. Younger children may need a bit more caregiver support along the way.

We focus on process art rather than perfect projects.

That means the goal isn't creating a Pinterest-worthy masterpiece—it's giving children the opportunity to explore, experiment, and create in their own unique way. Through painting, gluing, coloring, tearing, squeezing, and building, children strengthen important fine motor skills while expressing their creativity.

The process is the learning.

Every child may leave with something different, and that's exactly how we like it.
